Family Photography Experience
Your family portrait session is focussed on capturing the real emotion and interaction of your family. Sessions are relaxed and fun. Nothing cheesy or awkward - I guarantee you’ll be comfortable… yep, even the dad’s!
Sessions take place in and around Yamba, utilising the stunning natural beauty we have on our doorstep. Part of our discovery call is the decide the most appropriate location for your family. From the beach to the stunning Yuraguir National Park (my personal favourite!).
You truly don’t understand the power of family portraits until you have a beautiful photo of your loved ones hanging on your wall at home. As I write this, a massive 40 inch framed portrait of my cheeky son hangs on the wall in my office. It’s one of the most valuable things in my house.
Session Fee: $150
Your session fee includes:
A pre shoot consultation
A fun and relaxed portrait session, which runs for around 45-60 minutes
Your reveal and purchasing appointment
A week after your session, you will be invited to your reveal and purchasing appointment. This is where you will see your portraits for the first time. You’ll sit back with a drink, we’ll dim the lights and watch a slideshow of your images on the big screen. You’ll laugh, cry and feel all the emotions seeing your beautiful family captured as you imagined. At this appointment you we will select the products that will live on the walls of your home.
I have a number of prints and wall pieces available at varying sizes and prices. There is no minimum spend - you can spend as little or as much as you like. To give you an idea, my clients tend to spend around $1,500 but there is no obligation to do so.
THE PROCESS
STEP ONE: Initial Consultation
After I receive your enquiry, we will chat on the phone. I want to get to know everyone I will be photographing. I want to learn about the relationships between the family to make sure I capture the exact images you will love. We can also chat about your vision for the images and how they will be displayed in your home.
STEP TWO: The Shoot!
Nothing awkward or cheesy, just your family and me hanging out in a beautiful location. I’ll go into detail on what to expect, what to wear and some other tips for the shoot during our initial call.
STEP THREE: Reveal & Purchasing Appointment
This is the exciting part! You get to sit back with a drink in hand and see your images as a beautiful slideshow. We will then pick out the keepers and select your artwork.
STEP FOUR: Your Artwork Arrives
The magic happens here. I deliver your finished artwork to your home, ready to hang on your walls.
